YOUROPE has been bringing CLRA groups from across the consortium into direct dialogue, supporting young researchers in different countries to share findings, compare approaches, and build cross-border connections.

YOUROPE is inviting young people aged 16 to 30 living, working, or studying in Europe to complete a new survey on European citizenship, developed by Dr Kayden J Schumacher and student researchers at Coventry University.

At the latest YOUROPE consortium meeting in Brussels, partners shared emerging CLRA work from Coventry and across the consortium, including co-produced community exhibitions, energy co-design projects, and the development of the CLRA-COIL framework connecting youth researchers across eight partner countries.

YOUROPE researchers Oliwer and Wiktoria participated in the Council of Europe’s ceremony marking the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty in Strasbourg, reading a poem written by a young immigrant from Senegal and managing the Facebook live stream of the event.

In Włocławek, Poland, young researchers from the University of Lodz surveyed 191 peers, conducted six stakeholder interviews, and launched an Instagram campaign to share what they found: that 74% of young people in their city feel it is no place for them, and most plan to leave.

Young researchers from Poland, Turkey, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic presented their community research at the Council of Europe’s INGO Conference in Strasbourg, sharing findings from their CLRA work before an audience of civil society organisations from across Europe.

YOUROPE researchers led a hands-on research walk at Seznam.cz’s Media Education Festival, guiding educators and librarians through how Community-Led Research and Action equips young people to decode urban spaces, challenge media narratives, and tell their own stories.

University of South Bohemia researchers Patricie Kyslíková and Salim Murad presented YOUROPE’s Community-Led Research and Action methodology at the IOM Summer School in Prague, exploring how participatory approaches can enrich migration studies and amplify the voices of young people with lived experience of migration.
