YOUROPE is about involving young people and their communities to make democracy more inclusive and relevant. By working with 21 schools and colleges across Europe, the project will help students and their communities create new ways to participate in decisions that affect their lives. Through innovative methods and teamwork with policymakers, YOUROPE gives underrepresented young people the tools to lead change.
The project’s purpose is to make European democracy more inclusive by bringing young people, especially those often left out, into the conversation. YOUROPE wants to give them real opportunities to influence decisions, create better policies, and make democracy work for everyone.
YOUROPE imagines a Europe where young people feel heard and empowered in shaping the world around them. The project wants to create a system where everyone, no matter their background, can contribute to decisions, making democracy fairer, stronger, and more connected to real-life challenges.
