Our Role in YOUROPE

In the YOUROPE project, TAMK plays a key role in contributing to the success of the initiative. Specifically, we are involved in utilizing the Community-Led Research and Action (CLRA) methodology, combined with data-driven techniques, to identify challenges in local democracies and develop actionable solutions. We create and test inclusive democratic spaces, such as school forums or community councils, to foster ongoing participation beyond the project’s duration.

We organize interactive sessions in schools and communities where young people identify challenges and propose solutions for enhancing democratic participation. Our aim is also to build a broad network both nationally and internationally to advance the goals of the project.

Additionally, TAMK is responsible for ensuring the ethical aspects of the project and maintaining an ongoing ethical discussion within the project framework.
