The European Youth Parliament

About us

The European Youth Parliament is one of Europe’s largest youth platforms for civic education, intercultural encounters, and the exchange of ideas – run by young people, for young people. Our mission is to inspire and empower a young generation of informed, open-minded, responsible, and active citizens that shape society and drive impact.

We are represented in close to 40 countries, and have over 25,000 participants every year. This network is supported by the International Office, based in Berlin.

Our Role in YOUROPE

The role of the EYP is to connect the researchers to (more) young people and decision makers on local and European level. This happens in cooperation of the local EYP National Committee and the local research institution. These research institutions are located in: Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Türkiye and United Kingdom.

In addition, the research will be presented and promoted at different events of the EYP such as International Sessions and the Board of National Committees meetings. Here, the purpose of the research and how EYPers can be involved is shared, as well as eventually results from the research relevant for youth civil society organisations.
