In a more interconnected world than ever before, challenges such as democracy, poverty, inequality, women’s rights, ageing, modern slavery and the environment belong to all of us.

But these are problems that can and should be solved. Fortunately, important advances are being made and committed organisations and individuals continue to work together passionately to achieve results and improve the situation of humanity as far as possible.

Fundación Española por los Derechos Humanos join forces with YOUROPE Project partners to launch a Short Film Competition on Democracy and Human Rights with the aim of raising society’s unique union of citizens, media leaders, companies, NGOs, universities and basic organizations, to commit to addressing the most difficult issues today and sensitizing society through Art.

The short film competition will be a European and worldwide project, a showcase of stories and actions aimed at improving democracy on the planet.
